Which rate is this?

These are the foreign exchange buying rates of the Nepal Rastra Bank, against the NPR. Each value is shown both as the price of one unit of the currency in NPR and as the amount of the currency one NPR buys.

What happens on weekends and holidays?

The bank publishes nothing on those days. Rules that refer to a day without a publication usually mean the last rate published before it, which is what the API returns for such a date.
